Mint Floor Cleaner
I would rather get a root canal, lose an appendage or sit through an episode of Nancy Grace than clean my house.
I despise housecleaning. It’s probably because I only get to enjoy the fruits of my labor for approximately 13.4 minutes before one child or another sullies it all up again.
It really does feel like wasted effort most of the time.
As a child, I used to love watching The Jetsons and always thought it would be cool to have a robot maid like they did. It’s crazy that within 30 years, that far-out idea has become a reality.
You’ve probably seen the Roomba robotic vacuum. They’ve been around for awhile. But this new cleaner, Mint, focuses on hard surfaces.
It sweeps AND it mops. I like this.
You use dry or wet cleaning clothes with Mint, depending upon what type of cleaning you want done. It’s compatible with many popular-brand disposable and microfiber cloths. Turn it on and eat bon-bons while it cleans your floors.
If you just want sweeping and dusting of the floors, you pick the dry setting and use dry cloths. If you want your floors wet-mopped, you use the wet setting and wet cloths.
Okay, you say. It’s a robotic Swiffer, right? Well yes…and no. Because the Mint cleaner uses the NorthStar navigation system to track where it’s already cleaned, so it doesn’t re-do areas.
And it has sensors that tell it when it hits carpet so as not to get any wet material on your rugs.
It follows along baseboards and corners, too.
It works in the dark, and it can cover 1000 square feet dry, or 250 square feet wet before requiring a cloth change.
And you’re not doing ANY of it. Score!
I really want this cleaner. If I bought this, and a Roomba, I would never have to do my floors again. Just think of all of the relaxing- I mean organizing – I could do with all of my free time!
Mint Automatic Floor Cleaners sell for about $249 online at the Mint website.
