My kids LOVE s’mores. I don’t know if they actually like making them or if they just like the process of making them outside over a fire. But it’s definitely one dessert that they all jump up and down about and ask for just about everyday. Which is why I checked out the Progressive Microwave S’mores Maker.
Like I said, the kids want s’mores all the time. So to be able to enjoy s’mores indoors, anytime, no matter what the weather? This s’mores maker has me excited! It can make up to two s’mores at a time in less than a minute.
All you have to do is fill the reservoir with water, assemble one or two s’mores on the tray by stacking a piece of chocolate and a marshmallow in between two graham-cracker squares. Then you lower the arms to hold the s’mores in place, and microwave. The heated water allows s’more to heat evenly, and the arms prevent the marshmallows from overcooking and gives the chocolate time to melt.
I read several reviews, and almost every single one of them was extremely positive and said that this really works. Many people mentioned to be careful taking the s’mores maker from the microwave because the water is hot and can spill . . . this is not a product for a child to use on his or her own. It seems easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. And for less than $10, it’s definitely worth giving a try!
