I recently told you about personalized gift wrap, and what a fun idea I thought it was to get a present with your name all over it. The problem I’ve always had with gift wrap is that you throw it away…unless you are one of those people that delicately breaks down a gift with the precision of a surgeon so you can reuse the paper. I don’t have the time or patience for that! And yep, I do like putting gifts in gift bags so you can reuse them again and again. It’s eco-friendly and wallet-friendly, too. But what about a gift wrap that will never show signs of wear and can be used for years to come? Enter Lyziwraps.

Lyziwraps makes fabric wrap that is a fun alternative to wrapping paper. Lyziwraps are adjustable wraps that are easy to use and easy to store. They are durable and washable and can be used all year long for any occasion.

They come in either nylon or cotton wraps, and in a variety of colors. The wraps are adjustable and will conform to the shape and size of the gift. You can get four bags for about $16. That works out to about $4 a bag, which is what I pay for a gift bag and tissue paper. Inexpensive and reusable? Yes, please!

Lyziwraps also repurposes obsolete marketing banners to create fashionable, eco-friendly, one-of-a-kind totes as well.

Cool site, cool products…what do you think of Lyziwraps?

So then the question is, do you give away the expensive fabric wrapping with the gift, or awkwardly ask for it back??

I hate wrapping paper and have been known to just hand some body a present in the bag I got it with. This would be much less tacky lol

To answer Julie’s question above…..If you purchase a set of 4 Lyziwraps of assorted sizes, each wrap costs between $4-$5.50/wrap. If you go to Target and buy a small paper gift bag for $2.49 + tissue for $1.49 + ribbon for $.99 + a card for $1.00 you are have spent more on a gift wrap that will get thrown away that what you would spend on a Lyziwrap that can be used over and over saving time and money while supporting a healthier environment. Plus…it just might come back to you. U give U get!
