All three of my kids have blankies. Their own “can’t-live-without blankets” that go everywhere with them. They rarely allow me to hold or use their blankies (unless it’s because we are snuggling!), and prying it out of their hands to wash it is a death-defying feat. At our house, blankies are really important.
When the company Spunge contacted me and asked if I’d like to review their child-friendly, organic cotton blankets, I quickly accepted. Because, obviously, you can never have too many blankies at our house! What interested me in trying one of these blankets was that, not only are they beautifully designed, they also have nature inspired graphics, three-dimensional appliqué and embroidery.
Also? Spunge is committed to being environmentally safe and uses socially responsible methods. Their products are made with 100% natural cotton fibers and earth-friendly dyes, and the production is certified by the global organic textile standard (GOTS) and National Program for Organic Production (NPOP) standard.
Okay, so enough about the company . . . let’s talk blankets! Here is the one I received:
This is the Mini Spunge Stroller Security Blanket. It’s lightweight, and let me tell you, this is one SOFT blanket! The design, a pink flower, is beautiful, and the twins love rubbing their hands all over the different textures. The blanket is big enough to keep me covered up, but not so bulky that I end up kicking it off because I get too hot.
This is the perfect blanket.
Now, you may have noticed that I said that it keeps “me” covered up . . . yes, me! I got the blanket for the kids, but it is MY blanket! I understand why the kids don’t want to share their blankies . . . it’s because they love them (as I love my Spunge!)
I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you check out the Spunge site. They have blankets in three different sizes ranging from $22 to $48 dollars. Pricey? Maybe. Worth it? ABSOLUTELY!
I received a free Spunge blanket for this review. All opinions expressed are my own and were not influenced by any other source. I was not compensated to provide an opinion of this product.
