I used to wonder where I could find tiny jewelry items for photos when my daughter was smaller. I found Little Girl Pearls a little too late for that, but there are items for a variety of occasions—not just baby pictures.

There are pearls, accent charms, and birthstones for all sorts of occasions: baptisms, weddings, first communions, Easter, and adoptions. There are sizes to fit girls from birth to adulthood.

My favorite collection is the My Keepsake Pearls, which starts at $35. There are also pearl bracelets, pearl necklaces, pearl earrings, pearl sets, name bracelets, and hand stamped jewelry. Prices start at $45 and go up to $350 (a pearl jewelry set).

I love the idea of using jewelry as a keepsake, and pearls are so timeless and elegant, they can be handed down from generation to generation. They come with their own story about the special occasion when they were received, and they offer the perfect touch for pictures.

Additional charms and birthstones can personalize the jewelry further—a “big sis” charm could turn a simple bracelet into something a little girl can look back at years later and smile, remembering the day she found out she was going to be a big sister. If you need something specific, you can have a charm custom made.

I’m trying to come up with the perfect occasion to give one of these pieces to my daughter. Since I missed out on having and saving the baby jewelry, I’d like to give her something special now that she’s old enough to treasure special gifts like bracelets and necklaces herself.
