Does your cat get enough exercise during the day? Molly, our family cat, has been getting progressively chubbier over the last year. So, when I had a chance to try out the KONG Wobbler for Cats, I was anxious to see if it would motivate her to be more active.
The KONG Wobbler is a food and treat dispenser. You twist off the top, add a handful of treats or up to one half cup of dry cat food, and screw it back together before giving it to your cat.
The cat bats around the fluffy catnip stuffed tail and the treats come out the small hole in the side. Because the base is see-through, it taps into your cat’s natural desire to hunt and capture prey.
Molly seems to really enjoy this toy and I like that it keeps her from gobbling up all of her treats immediately. At first, I was concerned it would leave a mess all over the floor. But, the treats dispense slowly and she ate everything as soon as it came out. A small amount of fluff came off the tail the first time she played with the toy, but we haven’t had problems since.
If you’re looking for a cute Christmas gift for your feline friend, this would be an excellent choice. It’s too big to stuff in a stocking, but you could always wrap it up and assign your youngest child the job of “helping” the cat open her new toy.
