I already feel bad for my 2 year old twin girls. Why? Because if their hair is anything like mine, and it is already looking like it will be, they are going to have to survive a lifetime of fighting to comb out their hair after every bath and shower for the rest of their lives. Yep, my hair gets extremely knotty and hard to brush no matter how much conditioner, detangler, and special combs I use to try to brush it out.

Sorry, girls.

But I just found Tangle Teezer. Tangle Teezer is a comb designed to detangle both wet and dry hair. Unlike regular brushes and combs, where you gently have to ease tangles out from the ends of your hair and up to the roots, you can use Tangle Teezer from the roots to the ends.

Reading reviews on the site and on Amazon.com, it sounds like the Tangle Teezer is a must have for people with long hair, hair extensions, sensitive scalps, and fidgety kids.

There are different types of Tangle Teezers, one for adults (Original), cute ones for kids (Magic Flowerpot), and one specifically designed for hair extensions (Hair Rehab). There is also a compact styler for your purse, pocket, or gym bag, though honestly, the original doesn’t look like it’s big and bulky so I’m not sure why you would need a different one.

Tangle Teezer minimizes hair breakage as well, so over a period of time of using it, you will notice your hair feels thicker and looks healthier.

And with a price of just around ten dollars, I think I’m willing to give this product a shot. What about you? Would you give the Tangle Teezer a try?

Do they a model for little boys? My guys are the WORST at brushing their hair, because unlike girls, they could care less and never do a good job — which equals snags and tangles.

How does it work? What’s in that brush that it can do what nobody ever could?

I have a tangle teezer and it really does work on both wet and dry hair. The little soft spikes bend with the hair but manage to get through the tangles without pulling. They come in lots of different colors – black, blue, purple with glitter, pink, and a compact version in black and gold.

I have long thick hair that gets very knotted and it used to take me ages to comb with a wide tooth comb before I could even take a brush to it. The tangle teezer eliminates the need for the wide tooth comb, and it does impact a shine to the hair. However, if you want body and volume, you would be better brushing it round brush after using the tangle teezer.
