I’m a huge fan of Kellogg’s FiberPlus granola bars, so I had to try the Nutty Delights when I saw them in my grocery store this past weekend. I’m happy to report that, like the rest of the Kellogg’s FiberPlus line of products, these bars do not disappoint!

These bars are “too die for” delicious! They satisfied my massive PMS-related chocolate craving for a respectable 150 calories while proving 25% of my daily fiber intake. The 8 grams of fat in each bar seemed a little high to me, but is probably a bargain compared to the Snickers bar I would have been eating otherwise. They were chewy, chocolaty, and didn’t taste like “health food” at all.

My son, who is also obsessed with the Kellogg’s FiberPlus granola bars, thought these were good. However, he accused the peanut and dark chocolate Nutty Delights of having “too much chocolate” in them.

I tried to explain that there is simply no such thing as “too much chocolate” but he wasn’t convinced. Then, I realized this just means there will be more of these delicious bars left for me to enjoy!

Like other Kellogg’s FiberPlus products, the Nutty Delights bars do carry a warning on that back that new users should increase their fiber intake gradually to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort.

I would say that is very good advice, especially with this product. They are so tasty that you’ll be tempted to eat the whole box in one sitting. This is a really bad idea! Take one, then hide the rest!
