Iglooplay Mod Rocker

I want one. I want one. The Iglooplay Mod Rocker is the coolest rocker I’ve seen yet for a kid’s room. Just look at those curving lines!

It’s inspired by African stools that cup the body and, from the looks of it, this rocker seems as comfortable as it is beautiful. Maybe it’s the whole molded plywood thing that grabs my attention, I don’t know. To be sure, it is a grown-up look for a kid’s room – but it would fit right into a modern house, no matter the room.

Imagine the Iglooplay Mod Rocker in the living room, right next to the couch – then, imagine your kid quietly reading a book while you take in the Sunday paper.

The Mod Rocker is rather expensive ($285-$385), so it’s not for everyone. But, if you love mid-century modern furniture, then give this little tot rocker a look see.
