Spring is almost here, and I for one cannot wait! We are the kind of family who spends most spring, fall and summer days and nights outdoors, so when winter rolls around and it’s too cold, we miss entertaining. But during those other months? There’s lots of entertaining! So much so that I have invested in a completely separate set of dishes that are plastic so I don’t have to worry about my good ones getting cracked, dropped, or broken. Govino makes shatterproof wine glasses. Sure, we could drink wine out of plastic cups, but it just doesn’t taste the same. These wine and champagne glasses are made from a food-safe, BPA-free polymer (it reflects a wine’s color and aromatics much like crystal). It is recyclable but you don’t need to throw them away after using them once, because they are also reusable.

The glasses are all stemless, and I know some people prefer stems with their wine glasses, but as a mother of young children, I prefer them without. It helps to avoid any accidental knock overs.
