It’s hot in the summer in Southern California . . . very hot. Way too hot to turn on the oven, that’s for sure! And that is why I love my Nuwave Oven. I know you’ve probably seen the informercials about the Nuwave Oven, but let me tell you, it’s really a great product!

The Nuwave Oven allows me to cook foods easily and without breaking a sweat (literally!). It doesn’t generate heat the way your regular oven does, so you don’t even know that it’s on. It’s quiet, fast, and seems to me to cook food more evenly in less time.

How does it work? It combines the power of conduction, convection, and infrared cooking. When it is on, it makes a quiet, gentle humming sound. And because the dome is clear, the kids enjoy watching everything cook in it.

Meats come out moist and crisply browned. And it’s really easy to use: you put your food in, set the time you want it to cook for, and that’s it! You can even cook an entire meal (a protein and veggies) at the same time because of the rack that comes with it.

AND . . . you frozen foods don’t take much longer to cook than defrosted or fresh meals!

It’s also dishwasher safe. The dome doesn’t fit in my washer, but a quick rinse with warm, soapy water is all it takes to get it clean. There’s not much of a mess to clean up at all, no matter what I’m cooking.

Do you have a Nuwave Oven? Do you love yours as much as I love mine?

Sounds great, what’s the price for it?

I sometimes use my microwave to cook chicken fast, but the meat never browns or crisps so while it’s tender, it’s not that attractive and I hide it with barbeque or pasta sauce to cover its whiteness.

    This oven sounds ideal.

So it comes out like a regular oven but without the heat? This is interesting. Reminds me of the T-fal frier that uses only two tablespoons of oil for an entire batch of potatoes. some of these new inventions are miraculous.
