Help Your Child Learn With Dora The Explorer and Friends Magazines

Almost every kid I know loves Dora the Explorer, and parents do too. Why? Because Dora is an educational show that helps teach preschoolers colors, shapes, counting, and more . . . even Spanish! Which is why I really love the Dora the Explorer and Friends magazine.

Dora the Explorer and Friends Magazine introduces young children to early-stage skills in reading, writing, numeracy, problem solving, creative thinking and awareness of the world around them, as well as teaching Spanish words and phrases along the way. Each magazine is filled with a ton of fun activities that will also help your child learn. Activities include puzzles, counting, games, stories, coloring, crafts, posters, and Spanish vocabulary throughout. But don’t worry if you don’t speak Spanish; the words are  phonetically spelled out to help with pronunciation.

There are places for the kids to trace letters and learn their alphabet. The pages are super colorful and the entire magazine is fun. There are also sections on many pages with “A note to grown-ups” that tell you what each activity is helping your child learn and accomplish.

And did I mention there were stickers? A lot of them . . . 50 or more of them! And kids LOVE stickers.

A subscription of 4 issues is $17.99, and yes, it’s worth every penny.
But maybe you aren’t willing or able to pay for a magazine subscription. No worries! The Titan Magazine Dora the Explorer and Friends page has a ton of fun, downloadable things to keep your little ones busy – and it’s all free!
Would your young child like the Dora the Explorer and Friends magazine?

I think our household has watched enough Dora for a lifetime! I didn’t even know the show was still on regularly. She sure is a hit with pre-schoolers! I would guess the magazine would be a big draw for them, and the educational skills can only help them prepare for Kindergarten.

Oh my gosh my daughter is obsessed with Dora & Diego. Personally I prefer books and magazines that aren’t licensed characters as well. But she’dlove this-no one tell her about it!
