My nephew is teething right now, and he is chewing on everything, including his favorite blankie. My sister-in-law was at her wit’s end, and was tired of having to wash the blanket everyday. She started looking around and found this Green Sprouts Organic Teething Blankie.
This blanket is supposed to be used just like a teething toy…it’s supposed to be chewed on! This star shaped blankie is really cute – it’s made from organic knitted terry fabric and is entirely BPA, PVC, phthalate and nitrosamine free, so baby can chew away!
There’s also an attached removable cool teething ring (filled with sterilized water) that you can put in the refrigerator for an extra soothing effect. The blankie is the perfect size for little ones and is easy to hold. But remember that baby can chew on either the ring or the blankie, so the blankie offers baby another teething texture.
I like the idea that the teething ring is removable. If you are out and about, baby can still have the teething ring to hold on to. And the fact that it’s all organic makes me feel better about letting baby chew on it!
Reviews about this product were all pretty positive, and my sister-in-law has been singing its praises since she bought it. My girls are past the teething stage, but I sure wish I would’ve known about this when they were teething!
