Give Yourself a Boost with MiO Energy

I have a serious caffeine addiction, but I’ve never been much of a coffee drinker and soda is getting to be too expensive for my grocery budget. So, I was immediately curious when I came across MiO Energy liquid water enhancer. This is a small plastic bottle of concentrated flavoring that you add to water. It has no calories and does not require refrigeration. It has B vitamins and caffeine to give you a subtle energy boost.

MiO Energy comes in two flavors: Green Thunder and Black Cherry. I prefer the Black Cherry. Green Thunder tastes like Mountain Dew, which is fine if you have extremely cold water. When your water is room temperature, the resulting concoction is less than appetizing.

You’re supposed to mix one squirt of MiO into eight ounces of water, but the flavor level will depend upon your personal preferences. My husband likes MiO slightly diluted, while I prefer a stronger flavor. One serving of MiO has about as much caffeine as a small cup of coffee.

I love the portability of MiO Energy. I like to keep a bottle in my purse so I can add flavor to the water I order with my fast food takeout. I’ve never had any problems with it spilling.

If you limit your child’s caffeine intake, remember to keep your MiO Energy in a place where they can’t get it. Children are likely to use way too much product and you’ll end up with one unpleasantly hyperactive child.

Have you tried MiO Energy? If so, we’d love to hear what you think!

Funny product. To me, caffeine is a by-product that comes with a really good cup of coffee or tea. I don’t think I would seek it out just for the caffeine itself. But that’s just me.

Isn’t that kind of like using nicotine patches even if you don’t smoke?
