It’s that time of the year again when I start going through closets to sort out clothing and linens that need to be stored, given away, or put away until the next season.

What is always amazing to me is how many pillows and blankets we have, and of course there’s never enough room to store them! So when the good people over at Space Savers asked if I would like to review their Space Saver Space Bags, I jumped at the chance!

What are space bags exactly? Well, they triple your storage space because they shrink your items down into flat, stackable packs. All you do is put whatever will fit into the bag, and then use your vacuum cleaner hose (these bags work with all hoses) to suck all the air out of the bags. They literally shrink to almost nothing!

What is great about these bags is that they can be stored wherever you have room – under a bed, on a shelf in the closet, in a drawer, or even in the garage. I know what you are thinking – put your winter sweaters in the garage? If they are in a Space Bag, yes! These bags keep your belongings safe from pests, moisture and dirt. And when you open them up, they smell just as clean as when you put them in the bag.

All Space Bag products are airtight, waterproof and reusable. They come in a variety of sizes for all of your needs. You can find them almost anywhere, though I found them on amazon.com for a great price – you can get 14 bags for just $31.49!

What more can I say? These Space Bags ROCK! Storing pillows, sweaters, blankets and other large, bulky items has become so simple, and it’s something I don’t mind doing anymore. This is a product I will recommend to my family and friends, and you!

Have you used Space Bags in the past? What do you think about them?

I’ve used Space Bags so I can store more comforters, etc., in my home’s linen closet.

I tried something similar a few years ago and they didn’t work too well. This looks like a new-and-approved version! Makes a lot of sense, and sure need the extra space!
