There are lots of different websites offering free coloring pages for your kids to enjoy, but many of them are either hard to navigate or filled with annoying popups and spyware that could harm your computer. My favorite site for coloring pages for children is Frecklebox.

Frecklebox is best known as a retailer of adorable personalized gifts for children, including lunch boxes, binders, stickers, and books. The company also has a section of their website where you can make free personalized coloring pages for your child, however.

Simply choose the design you like, type in your child’s name, preview the design, and print off the personalized page. It’s very easy to do and there are options for both boys and girls suitable for a wide range of interests. There are also holiday pages covering Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, and more.

One of my favorite uses of free coloring pages is to use them as filler in party goodie bags. I think it would be cute to include personalized coloring sheets for each of the children who attended your child’s birthday party.

I know as a mom, I would prefer that my son receive coloring sheets and a new box of crayons instead of a bag of plastic junk I’ll end up having to throw away in a week anyway. If you don’t see a page that matches the theme of your child’s birthday party, I think the “I love cupcakes” coloring sheet would be a good general-purpose alternative.

Do you use free coloring sheets to keep your child entertained? If so, please share your favorite websites!
