I love Schwan’s! In my rural community, there are no restaurants that deliver. So, the Schwan’s service is absolute heaven for a busy mom who hates to cook. My family has tried several different Schwan’s products over the years, but one of our universal favorites is the six cheese tortellini.
Schwan’s tortellini is filled with a blend of ricotta, Swiss, fontina, asiago, Romano, and Parmesan cheeses. It can be served hot or cold with your favorite sauce. My son likes to have it hot with a bit of garlic butter. My husband likes it hot with marinara sauce. I like it as part of a cold pasta salad with tuna and vegetables. It’s always a favorite when I take it to potlucks, no matter how it is prepared.
In addition to being absolutely delicious, the pasta is very quick to make. It’s perfect for nights when your kids have activities or when you’re too tired to cook but don’t want the expense of takeout. In about five minutes, dinner is on the table. It comes in a 2lb resealable bag, so you don’t have to make it all at once if you’d prefer to have it as a side dish. (The pasta is frozen, so it’s a little different than the dried tortellini you may be more familiar with at your local grocery store.)
If you’re a regular Schwan’s customer, it’s a good idea to place your orders online. This ensures that all of your items will be available and helps you earn points you can redeem for discounts on future grocery purchases.
