I like nail polish because it’s a quick pick me up, but I’m not the type of girl who is going to pay $10 or more for just one bottle. I’ve tried most of the nail polish brands you find at the drug store and discovered my favorite is Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro regularly retails for around $4 a bottle. However, you can frequently score this polish dirt cheap. It seems like new colors are always being added, so there are often great sales to be found by combining clearance deals with coupons.

For example, I picked up Gold Silk at Target for just 13 cents during my last shopping trip. This versatile neutral shade is likely to get a lot of use as summer approaches.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro comes with a wide angle brush for easy application. It’s enriched with micro minerals to help fill in tiny imperfections in the surface of your nails, which is helpful if you’re into gardening, crafting, or other activities that tend to be hard on your hands. The colors are all very vibrant; two of my favorite shades are Red Rock and Steel Grey.

I’m not sure I’d agree with the assessment that it last 10 days, although this particular brand of polish does seem to chip less than many of the others I’ve tried. You’ll get the best results if you take the time to use Rimmel’s base coat and top coat, but even without this extra step, you’ll still have several days before it’s time for a polish change.

Have you tried Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro? If so, what are your “must-have” shades?
