Funflectors: A Must-Have Safety Product

Even though it’s getting darker much earlier in the day, kids still love to be outside until their parents call them home. And while we, as parents, want our kids to have as much outdoor time as possible, it can be scary when their kids are running around in the dark because it’s not as easy for cars to see them. That’s why you need to check out these Funflectors.

Did you know that in the U.S., 7 out of 10 pedestrian accidents occur between 6 pm and 6 am, the hours of darkness for most of the year? A driver will see someone with a quality reflector about 400 feet away. Without a reflector, the distance is only 100 feet. So a Funflector will definitely help keep your child safe.

Powered by 3M Scotchlite reflective material, Funflectors are kid-approved stylish reflectors that can be attached to zipper pulls, hung from backpacks and strollers or safety pinned to clothing. They reflect light to help keep your kids safe. Styles include animals, cars, fruits, hearts, peace signs, and Halloween-themed reflectors.

Not only are these reflectors a fantastic safety measure, but they are also an accessory that your kids will love.

Another tip on the site is to use them on your dog’s leash to make sure that your pet also stays safe if you are walking him at night.

And did I mention they are less than $5 each?

I think Funflectors are a great, inexpensive safety measure. Would you purchase them for your children?

I definitely need to get these for my boys. Last night they didn’t come home until after dark because it’s getting darker earlier and earlier here. I would feel like they are so much safer with something like that.

I agree! I have a reflective collar and leash for the dog (she’s black and so invisible at night) and I like to find jackets that have a reflective stripe somewhere, but that isn’t always available. These would be very handy to help her be spotted in the dark, dreary weather ahead!

These are a great idea. Recently pedestrian car accidents have been happening in my area. So sad when something can be prevented. What a great product. it does get dark super early!
