When my son was born, the hospital sent us home with a free keepsake book that was personalized with his name, birthdate, weight, and other details such as who came to visit him in the hospital. This ended up being one of his favorite stories for several years, even though he had a huge bookcase full of stories in his room. He would have loved to receive a book from Flatten Me.

If you’re looking for a unique keepsake for a special child, the Flatten Me storybooks are a wonderful option. The selection of Flatten Me books includes stories about fairies, pirates, superheroes, and underwater sea creatures. There are also books about potty training and learning how to count.

Full previews of all the stories are online, so you’ll have a pretty good idea of what to expect when you receive the finished product. All of the books are suitable for both boys and girls and children of any skin tone.

It takes about two weeks to receive your book. If desired, you can request stories printed in Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Finnish, Norwegian, and Turkish.

The only significant drawback I can see for a Flatten Me book is the price. They are $27.95 for paperback and $39.95 for hardcover. But, although this is steep for a child’s book, the value of raising a proficient reader can’t be underestimated.

If your child struggles with reading, he or she is going to have problems throughout school. In my opinion, anything you can do to encourage your son or daughter to become a proficient reader who enjoys a good story is well worth the expense.
