Have you ever heard of Flap Happy clothing? It’s a funny name, but they deliver a fantastic product!

If your children spend a lot of time outdoors, you’ve got to check out this clothing line! Flap Happy offers a line of clothing with built in UPF 50+ sun protection. Their line of summer clothes, bathing suits and hats are quick drying and come in an array of colors and styles to suit everyone.

These cute swimsuits are an example of Flap Happy style. But guess what? There is a hidden bonus in each of these suits! Each of them contain a built in swim diaper! Unlike cloth or disposable diapers, Flap Happy swim diapers will not weigh your child down. And the waterproof barrier helps keep accidents inside the swim diaper. I’m buying one of the cute girl suits for each of my twins!

Flap Happy also makes a flap hat that provides additional sun protection to the back of your child’s neck. Yes, the hat is a bit funny looking, but if you are going to be out in the sun all day long and are worried about your child’s neck and ears getting burnt (even with the sunblock on), then this hat is for you!

Now this hat is more stylish, but offers the same protection! The floppy brim that extends back to the neck and is longer in the back, just like the flap hat. It has velcro straps, which are the only way I can keep a hat on either of my girls.

So I’m off to do some Flap Happy shopping! You can purchase Flap Happy products at a variety of online places including REI and Amazon.com.

  • Pinchus Rose

I love the vibrant prints they use. and with all the added benefits, I’m going to check out prices.

  • Penny W.

Oh, the endless struggles to keep a sunhat on a fussy baby!! LOL, it’s so funny when it’s happening to another mommy … but so frustrating when it’s YOU. Hopefully the Velcro straps will help keep these sweet and sunsafe hats on little heads.
