We drink a lot of water at our house. A lot. And I feel really bad about buying plastic water bottles and then throwing them away. Which is why the Filtrete Water Station is perfect for my family.

The Filtrete Water Station provides the convenience of bottled water without the cost and waste of throw-away plastic bottles. So if you purchase a lot of bottled water like we (try not to) do, it could save you hundreds of dollars per year (or more!) in bottled water costs!

So you probably want to know how it works. It’s really easy and fast to do. You simply put the four BPA-free reusable bottles on the station, fill up the filter with tap water right out of the sink, and let the filter do its thing. After you filter the tap water, simply place the bottles in the fridge for cold bottled water.

It’s really that simple. And as a bonus for us busy parents, the bottles are dishwasher safe and include a leak-proof cap. The cap really doesn’t leak, either. The filter on the Filtrete lasts longer and filters two and a half times more water than traditional pitcher filters, so it’s also cost effective.

But the best part of purchasing and utilizing the Filtrete Water Station is that it can help save up to 3,000 plastic bottles per year from ending up in landfills. So you’re being both smart with your money and green at the same time!

Would you try the Filtrete Water Station or have you already?

Well we already use another brand of pitcher filter for home use, but the sexy angle of this product are the three “grab and go” water bottles, isn’t it? That is pretty attractive for the family that needs to run out the door and needs water to go.

Smart thinking … I may have to rethink my brand choice when it’s time to replace mine!

I have a friend that uses this and it’s totally on my Christmas list!
