Fantasy Flyer Pedal Plane

And now for one from our “It’s A Little Ridiculous” file.

As soon as a child learns to walk, it seems that they’re ready to explore many other forms of transportation, too. Trikes, trucks, anything on wheels become a big draw.

When a child moves up to official “preschooler” status, most are ready for a cool motorized ride-along vehicle or pedal toy.

But what childhood would be complete without a plane?

Okay, so it’s a pedal plane. But it’s still a plane – a very glammed-out one at that. I may have even seen this on an episode of MTV Cribs once.

This is the Fantasy Flyer Pedal Plane.

It’s called “Fantasy” because any kid would dream of having one. It’s also called “Fantasy” because my kid IS dreaming if she thinks I’m buying her one of these!

Yes, it’s amazingly cute. It has a padded seat, pink paint and chrome detailing. The propeller actually moves and the tires? Who needs Michelins when you’ve got these high-traction beauties?

A little girl would be the envy of all the neighborhood girls tooling around in the Fantasy Flyer. Just think of the sobbing children running to their mothers wailing, “Courtney got a Fantasy Flyer Plane and all I have is this lame trike.”
