If you have school-aged kids, you might be on an earlier schedule than usual. In the very least, if you drive them to school yourself (or maybe even if you just walk them to the bus stop), you’re probably going to want to take your coffee to-go.
I don’t personally have enough time in the mornings to linger over a cup of coffee the way I want to because I have to get my daughter ready for school and then drive her there. I’d rather sleep in than sit up and enjoy coffee at my desk, but that’s just me.
The Tervis mugs have a good reputation, and from my personal experience, they deserve it. They’re dishwasher safe, the lids go on tightly so they’re unlikely to leak, and they keep hot drinks relatively hot, though I’ve had travel mugs that do a better job of it (they tend to need to be washed by hand, though).
This particular one will give you a reason to giggle first thing in the morning, and sometimes that’s just what you need after rolling out of bed only to hit the ground running in order to get the kids to school on time.
The only drawback to the mug design is that it didn’t fit into the cup holders in my car. It was too wide and the handle got in the way. There are other sizes and styles, however, that might fit. I have only tried the mugs, but the tumblers will fit most cup holders and you can add a lid and handle to those if you’d like.
Tervis tumblers are also good for keeping cold drinks cold.
