Elisa Iliana Children’s Charm Bracelet
How do you feel about charm bracelets for girls?
I like the idea of having a piece of jewelry that a little girl can “collect” and build on, getting new charms on special occasions or in honor of achievements.
My daughter loves jewelry. She’s only 5. Last year, I bought her a cheap (hopefully cadmium-free) little pre-filled charm bracelet for Christmas. She loved it. For about 3 days. Now, I have no idea where it is.
So that’s my concern with buying her really nice jewelry. This charm bracelet from Elisa Iliana is just lovely. But I worry about it getting lost, damaged or becoming the subject of a tug-of-war.
Elisa Iliana charm bracelets are made of brushed sterling. And for a nice piece of jewelry, $45 doesn’t seem outrageous – IF your child is mature enough to take care of it (mine is obviously not).
They carry several different charms that coordinate with the bracelet as well. I thought this little MP3 player was really cute.
For a fancier occasion, Elisa Iliana has charms with a tiny gem, like this butterfly.
And for a sporty girl, this bike charm is adorable.
Initial charms are also available.
The charms themselves run around $36 or so. Some are more expensive than that.
This is a very nice collection if you’re looking to transition a little girl into taking care of fine jewelry.
As for me, I’m sticking with Mardi Gras beads for a little bit longer.
