Crying Baby? Get Relief With Dunstan Baby Language

I remember like it was yesterday. The pain of hearing my baby cry endlessly and not understanding what she needed. The sleepness nights and irritability during the day. The guilt of not knowing how to soothe my baby or understand what she was trying to tell me with her cries.

The Pain of a Crying Baby

If your baby is crying and you don’t know what to do – you’re not alone! I have been down this road and it’s not fun. When my little girl Jenna was a newborn baby just two years ago she would cry throughout the night and into the day. I thought I had a colic baby - I knew she was trying to tell me what was bothering her, but I didn’t have the tools to understand it.

Then my life literally changed by watching The Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah was interviewing Priscilla Dunstan, a mom from Australia with a special gift who has unlocked the secret language of babies. Her amazing system is called Dunstan Baby Language and here's what it's all about.

The Key to Unlock the Crying of Newborn Babies

When Priscilla was a toddler, her parents discovered she had a photographic memory for sound. At age 4, she could hear a Mozart concert on the piano and play it back note for note. Priscilla says her gift has helped her hear a special "second language" beyond English, allowing her to detect moods and even diagnose illnesses.

That mysterious second language took on an astounding new meaning when Priscilla became a mother to her baby, Tom. "Because of my gift for sound, I was able to pick out certain patterns in his cries and then remember what those patterns were later on when he cried again," Priscilla said on Oprah. "I realized that other babies were saying the same words."

After testing her Dunstan Baby Language system on more than 1,000 infants around the world, Priscilla says there are five words that all newborn babies 0–3 months old say—regardless of race and culture. Those "words" are actually sound reflexes, Priscilla says. "Babies all around the world have the same reflexes, and they therefore make the same sounds," she says. If parents don't respond to those reflexes, Priscilla says the baby will eventually stop using them.

Dunstan Baby Language

After seeing this segment on Oprah I instantly went out and bought the the Dunstan Baby Language system and it changed everything. All of a sudden I could understand what my Jenna was trying to tell me. What’s even better, I could now listen for words in Jenna’s pre-cry before she started crying hysterically.

Now, instead of having a colic baby that mystified me when she cried, Jenna could actually communicate with me. Not with words, but with specific sounds. I learned the sound for “I’m hungry” (sounds like "neh") and could feed her before she got fussy. I learned the sound for “burp me” and could get the gas out of her long before the howling started.

Almost overnight my sleepless nights were transformed into a peaceful, restful time. My hectic days smoothed out. And Jenna seemed genuinely happy that I could now figure out what she needed before she had to resort to crying. I went from having the fussiest baby in the neighborhood to having the happiest, all because of The Dunstan Baby Language system.

The core of the Dunstan system is a set of two DVD that teaches you in an easy step-by-step manner how to identify your baby's sounds. Fortunately, this secret language of babies is not hard to learn once you have the tools. After seeing several different babies on the DVD make the same type of noise you will easily be able to identify it in your child.

Along with the DVDs, the Dunstan system includes a 24 page booklet, a reference wall chart, and subtitles in Spanish and French. It's important to note that the Dunstan system works for babies who's parents speak any language. The secret language of babies seems to be universal.
