Does The Summer Wreak Havoc On Your Skin? I Have The Solution!

The sun. I love it. I worship it, and spend WAY too much time in it. And my skin pays for it, even though I (try to) always wear sunblock to keep me looking young. I really do try to follow my own sun safety tips, and while I’m pretty good about keeping my skin protected, I still need help caring for my skin daily. I don’t drink enough water, don’t get enough sleep, and as I mentioned, I spend too much time in the sun.

Enter Hope In a Jar by Philosophy. This is an AMAZING award-winning, lightweight daily moisturizer. It hydrates like you wouldn’t believe and provides antioxidant protection. I use it regularly, and it really improves my skin’s texture and makes my skin feel soft. I highly recommend you try it out if you haven’t before!

There are various formulas based on your skin type, so make sure you check to see which type of Hope In a Jar is right for you.

I also wear makeup during the summer…not a lot, but I do wear powder and bronzer. The problem with that is that the makeup gets stuck in my wrinkles fine lines. So I also use The Present. This stuff really is a gift! It’s a “clear makeup” for “fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven texture.” It makes my entire face look like it’s been airbrushed…I’m not kidding!

And it multi-tasks: it is a foundation primer, colorless skin perfector, skin barrier protector and oil-free moisturizer all in one. It’s lightweight, easy to apply (it’s clear! you can’t mess it up!) and in one word, it is INCREDIBLE.

But Philosophy is more than just skin care. Head over to the site and check out all of their incredible products. Better yet, head to the nearest place that Philosophy is sold in your area so that you can test out the feel and scents of the products!

Do you use Philosophy products? Which is your favorite?

I was just saying, and for some reason my prattle disappeared, that I am pregnant, and if this creme could do anything for my face, then by all means. But i doubt it can, could it?

This made me smile. We multiple-task SO much I never thought of a moisturizer – or make-up in general – pulling double duty. But this apparently does so sign me up! Awesome. I appreciate the hydration but I’m crazy over-the-moon for the fact it’s also a foundation primer. If it gives me flexibilty as well as protection how can I go wrong?
