It’s always kind of a struggle finding tub toys that my daughter will enjoy. It’s not that she doesn’t like most of them—we just can never find very many good choices. Even bath crayons are hard to come by for some reason, and they get used up so quickly, it’s not even worth it sometimes.
The Tub Time Foam Activity Set featuring the Disney princesses (Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella) comes with crayons—and they’re not the best crayons in the world because the color runs everywhere when they get damp—but they also come with foam princesses that have different dresses, jewels, and additional characters that stick to the sides of the tub.
Kids can tell stories, move the characters around, let them float, and just do so much more than draw on the sides of the tub. Clean-up is so much easier when kids play with the foam characters than when there are crayons involved. Just stuff the items in the mesh bag (complete with suction cups) that comes with the set, and you’re done.
And they’ll last a long time without developing any mildew issues like a few rubber ducks have given us in the past.
Though the crayons that come in the set aren’t ideal, my daughter did enjoy turning the water colors with them (yeah, the color seeps out that much), and she’s still having fun with the foam pieces even though the crayons are long gone.
