Dapple Baby Promotes “Green Cleaning” Alternatives

I love a clean house, but I don’t really enjoy the act of cleaning itself. Ideally, I’d have a maid to take care of all the nasty messes associated with being a parent. But, since that’s not in the cards, Dapple cleaning products seem like the next best thing.

Thanks to kind representatives from the company, I recently had a chance to sample Dapple’s dish washing liquid, toy wipes, and surface cleaner. All of the products worked wonderfully, although I fell in love with the surface cleaner. It took care of all sorts of household mishaps while leaving my home smelling like lavender essential oil – one of my favorite fragrances.

Dapple specializes in “green cleaning” products that are safe for babies. My son is seven, but we have a cat, friends with chemical allergies, and I often have children in my home to visit. So, I do prefer to use green cleaning solutions whenever possible. Dapple’s surface cleaner is all-natural, biodegradable, and able to handle messes on almost any surface in your home.

During my test run with the product, I used it to clean sticky fingerprints off my kitchen table, dried applesauce off Legos, and something that might have been chewed gum off a stuffed teddy bear.

Dapple surface cleaner is not antibacterial, but research is starting to show that antibacterial cleaners may actually do more harm than good. (On a personal note, I seldom use any antibacterial products and my son is one of the healthiest kids I’ve ever met.)

Dapple products are still hard to find locally in some parts of the United States. In my rural Iowa community, Toys R Us is the closest location and that’s still about an hour away. However, the Dapple Baby website does list several places you can buy its cleaning products online.

I will have to try the products out. I often clean with vinegar since it’s all natural, etc., but my husband hates the smell! I am sure Dapple’s lavendar scent is better than the smell of vinegar!

I normally clean with vinegar too, but my hubby hates the smell. We all agree that Dapple smells amazing!
