Crocs Go Beyond Their Humble Roots
I’ve been a fan of Crocs since the beginning, but my husband hasn’t always shared my feelings. My husband, like most guys I know, has always said he hated Crocs.
He was thrilled when my first pair of “ugly beach shoes” got so worn out that I finally had to toss them. So, I was more than a little curious to see what he’d think of the new Crocs Cobbler hiking boots for men.
The Cobbler hiking boot looks like an ordinary hiking boot at first glance, but it’s made with the same Croslite material that makes regular Crocs so comfy.
The boots are only available in whole sizes. I ordered 1/2 size up for my husband because he has wide feet. (He normally wears an 11 1/2, so I ordered a size 12 boot.) They fit perfectly.
Even though he is fairly picky when it comes to his shoes, my husband says the boots are quite comfortable. They don’t hurt his feet after standing all day, which is a common complaint with most of his other shoes.
He also says the soles seem to have a good grip to them, which I’m sure will be handy with winter approaching and icy sidewalks becoming more common.
So, if your significant other is in the market for a comfy new pair of shoes, I encourage you to check out the Crocs website. The company has moved far beyond the beach shoes for which they are best known and now carries a wide range of comfortable, yet attractive footwear for men, women, and children. (Go ahead and pick yourself up a pair while you’re at it!)
