Target has paired up with Converse to offer the One Star line (as opposed to the traditional All Star Converse line you’re probably familiar with). Target is really stepping up its game, I tell you. We recently bought these girls shoes for our two-and-a-half year old daughter and she won’t stop wearing them! Of course, she is a shoe-girl, so there’s that.
When she wears the Converse One Star shoes, especially with her little sweat pants that sorta fall down her butt a bit, she reminds me of the teenager she will eventually become. Sassy, adorable. Her shoes are pink and to her, pink goes with everything so she wears them with everything.
My husband does not like the lace up shoe laces and I’ll admit they can be a bit frustrating when our girl squirms in my lap when it comes time to put the shoes on. She’s not a huge fan of that part.
That said, these shoes generally stay tied, which is more than I can say for some lace up shoes out there.
In my book, and in my daughter’s book, the Converse One Star shoes are da bomb. And, at $16, it won’t bother me when she grows out of them.
Converse One Stars also come in black and flame print models, which would be perfect for a boy.
