Spring is upon us, and a lot of families like to head out for a family vacation or special trip to an amusement park. I live in Southern California, not far from Disneyland. We’ve taken all three kids one time and that was only because we had free passes and the girls are only 2 so they get in for free.
If your children are begging to go to Disneyland, but like us you can’t afford to take them, you should check out the Disneyland Explorer App for iPad.
This fun app allows you to explore all of Disneyland. It’s the official Disney Parks application and is available only for iPad. It’s free to download, so you’ve got nothing to lose by checking it out.
What will you find on the app? You’ll feel like you are walking through Disney’s parks while you view an incredible photo recreation of Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, Downtown Disney District, and all three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
The imagery is high-res imagery from photographs and 360 panoramas. There’s even some live action video and animation.
You’ll also find some really cool interactive activities of some of your favorite classic attractions. You can fire a cannon on the high seas in Pirates of the Caribbean or tour the galaxy with Star Tours: The Adventures Continue. You can create your own musical water show in World of Color (my kids love this one) and even learn to draw your favorite Disney Characters at the Animation Academy!
There are highlights from over 130 attractions, characters, and entertainment featured throughout the app.
This app will keep the kids entertained for a long time. And after they’ve worn themselves out, they can even create a digital postcard to share with friends.
Check out the Disnelyland Explorer app and let me know what you think!
