I have loved puppets ever since I was a young girl. Sure, stuffed animals are cute. But, puppets are cute and interactive! You can sing songs with them, make silly voices, or act out your favorite children’s book.
My love of puppets means my son has a huge collection of puppets that I started buying pretty much as soon as I found out I was pregnant. We don’t actually have any of the Cate & Levi puppets yet, but they are high on my wish list. I love the colorful designs and the variety of characters that are offered!
I also like that all of the Cate & Levi puppets are handmade at the owner’s studio in Toronto, Canada. Each puppet is a one-of-a-kind creation using locally sourced materials to make the finished product as eco-friendly as possible.
This means you can feel good about giving your child a toy that is educational, fun, environmentaly responsible, and supportive of a small business owner. What more could you ask for?
Each Cate & Levi puppet retails for $30 USD. This makes them a little more expensive than some of the other popular puppets for children, such as the Melissa & Doug line of puppets. But, since each one is handmade and unique, I think the price is quite reasonable in the grand scheme of things.
