In my home, we have shutters and blinds covering all of our windows. One chore I hate almost as much as laundry is cleaning the blinds and shutters…especially downstairs. We have a sliding glass door that’s open most days, and the dust that gets in the house is just crazy. Dusting blinds and shutters is a pain! I’ve tried to vacuum them, used those disposable dusters on a rod, dusted them the old fashioned way, and every trick in the book. Unfortunately, I’ve never found a successful shortcut. However I recently heard about Cassabella Microfiber Window Blind Gloves, and I’m wondering if they might at least make the job a little easier.
Cassabella Microfiber Window Blind Gloves are made from microfiber and tight loop naps that pick up and trap dust, dirt, fingerprints and grime. The gloves allow for easy and quick cleaning of mini blinds, vertical blinds and wood blinds. Use can use them either dry or moisten with water for extra cleaning power.
The great thing about microfiber is that it leaves no dust on the blinds or in the air; it traps it in the microfiber. I think the gloves will make it easier to get in between the cords and also makes cleaning go more quickly if you can use one glove on each hand!
They are simple to care for, too. You just machine wash them on warm and allow to air dry. You can pick up a pair of 2 for about $12.
I don’t know about you, but I think I’m going to give these gloves a shot!
