Ben Bat: Travel Pillows for Kids

We don’t do a whole lot of traveling with the kids because with three kids who are four and under, that’s just crazy! But we do a lot of day trips to the beach, amusement parks, visiting family . . . you know, the typical stuff families do. And because the kids are so young, napping in the car on the way home happens a lot. This means that the poor kids ends up with their heads hanging forward and constantly jerking around as the car moves. Sure, it doesn’t seem to bother them, but it’s hard to see them so uncomfortable! Which is why I think Ben Bat travel pillows are worth checking out.

Ben Bat travel pillows (and other products) are designed for children from birth to age 8, though their products can support older children as well. The pillow is designed to offer total neck and head support. The headrest stabilizes the head and secures it to prevent it from slumping forward. The side cushions are thicker in front to secure the head in the headrest and offer gentle neck support. There’s even an internal magnet that connects both sides to provide neck support and  secure placement of the pillow.

The pillows are also two-sided, with fabrics that will provide comfort in the fall/winter (warmer) and spring/summer (cooler) months. The pillows come in a variety of fun, friendly and creative designs. The cost is around $35, and the reviews I’ve read have been mixed. Still, I think it’s a product worth checking out!

Have you used a Ben Bat travel pillow for your kids? If so, what did you think of it?
