This may be more appealing to little girls than boys, but the Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial PocketBacs are my daughter’s newest obsession. There’s one there that’s pinkish-purple with glitter floating in it that seems like it was made for her (I “Heart” Paris Berry Amour). She begged me to get it when we were in the store looking for lotion, and since it was around $1.50, I caved.
I’m personally more of a traditional soap-and-water or, if a sink isn’t available, a baby wipes kind of girl when it comes to cleaning her hands off after a trip to the playground, but she loves the hand sanitizers.
Not all the scents are girly, so even boys may not run away when it’s time to use PocketBacs. The ones that looked interesting were the Halloween collection, Grass, and Tangerine.
I wasn’t crazy about letting her have her own hand sanitizer like she wanted because I thought she’d use it all up at once and dry her hands out, but it is the perfect size for her little purse we got not too long ago and gives her something small and “important” to carry around.
Since she’s been pretty good about using it sparingly, I can now admit that this little bottle is kind of a life saver sometimes. One, it’s easy to get rid of germs between playground visits and lunches, even if there’s not a bathroom (or at least a clean one) nearby.
The scent is a thousand times better than the smell of traditional hand sanitizers that just smell like alcohol to me. Because she likes it so much, we generally have it on hand, and she’s never turned me down when I’ve asked her to use it.
Overall, I really like the Bath & Body Works hand sanitizers because of the available scents, the fact that she likes them so much (thanks, glitter!), and their portable size.
