Baby Bedding That You Will Love as Much as Your Child Will!

All three of my kids LOVE their blankets. Their blankies, or “botties” as my 1-year-old twins call them for some reason. The funny thing is, that the blankies they each decided were their favorites were not super expensive blankets or anything spectacular. They are soft, not too big and not too small, and they go everywhere with them.

But because they are happy with their cheap blankies, it never even occurred to me that I should spend money on an expensive blanket…until I came across Taggies. These blankets are not crazy expensive, but they are not cheap either. Their designs are just too cute though! Heck, I want one of these blankets for myself!

Okay, enough swooning, what I really wanted to tell you about was what makes Taggies unique: these products are actually educational. They help enhance early childhood emotional well being and growth”by providing tactile and visually stimulating features that both soothe and entertain.”  And of course, they also provide a sense of security.

Why are they called Taggies? Each item has little tags around the edges or somewhere on its surface, as you will see in the photo of the blanket above.

But Taggies sells more than just blankets; they sell all kinds of educational products for your babies and toddlers. They sell apparel, bedding, books, and toys. Taggies was created by a mother, and also has a focus on safety.

From what I can tell, these are high-quality products for a reasonable price. Perfect baby shower gifts!

Head over and check out Taggies, and let me know if what you think!

I like blankets that are not stimulating, being that I use them when I hope the kids will fall asleep! And didn’t you go too far to say that they help emotionally. I mean, c’mon. You know that babies and children get emotional needs met when mom gets off the couch and attentive to them, not when she throws them a colorful blanket.

I was given one of these once in a baby shower basket. I thought it was neat, but when I gave it to my girl, she put the tags immediately into her mouth and I wasn’t too keen on that idea in case one detached. So we put it away. It was a very nice, soft blanket, but never became something she clung to.
