I love popcorn! In college, there were several times when I’d substitute a bag of popcorn and an apple for a proper lunch. I can’t get away with that too often now that I have a child demanding I cook him actual meals, but popcorn remains one of my favorite snack foods.

I recently received a sample of kettle corn in the mail from Angie’s Artisan Treats. I am pleased to report to all of you that Angie’s classic kettle corn is simply amazing. Angie’s Artisan Treats has been in business since 2001 and I am seriously kicking myself for just now learning about this popcorn. I can’t believe I missed out on over a decade of what has to be the best popcorn in the world.

Made with just popcorn, corn oil, sugar, and sea salt, Angie’s kettle corn is the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I actually like it better than butter drenched movie theater popcorn, which is probably one of my favorite foods on the entire planet. And, at 150 calories per bag, Angie’s classic kettle corn is a much better choice for my diet.

My husband and my son enjoyed Angie’s classic kettle corn too, but they have slower reflexes and thus didn’t do quite as much “sampling” as I did.

You can buy Angie’s classic kettle corn snack bags at Target stores in all 50 states or ordered online. There are also big bags of popcorn you can purchase if you’re planning a family movie night, although I’d like to warn you that this stuff is addictive!

Once I opened the sample bag I received in the mail, I couldn’t stop munching on it. I am going to have to stick with the snack size bags just to keep myself from eating popcorn all day long.
