One fun summer activity for kids is to have a picnic outside. If you don’t want to take the time to pack a traditional picnic basket, try grabbing a few meals from GoPicnic for your little ones to enjoy.

This is a line of healthy ready-to-eat meals that require no refrigeration. There are several different varieties available, but my son’s favorite is the peanut butter and crackers meal. This meal features Peanut Butter & Co. Natural Peanut Butter, Partners Get Movin’ Honey Wheat Crackers, Sweet Perry Orchards Unsweetened Applesauce, Annie’s Homegrown Cheddar Bunny Crackers, and Professor Zim Zam’s All-Natural Jelly Jets.

These are all high quality companies that make great snacks, so I wasn’t surprised that everything was very tasty. If you eat the entire meal, it provides 460 calories with 6 grams of fiber and 11 grams of protein.

When you open the your GoPicnic box properly, it makes a cute little tray with puzzles and trivia questions printed on the inside. Unfortunately, my son and didn’t realize this and we just ripped our boxes open and dug into the snacks.

GoPicnic meals are advertised as being great for the whole family, but I’m not entirely sure this is accurate. The portions were perfect for my seven-year-old son, but I was hungry an hour after I ate my meal. My husband could have easily ate two meals in one sitting as well.

If I was going to pack these for another picnic for our family, I’d include a few extra pieces of fruit or some granola bars for us. Other than this one small issue, I’d highly recommend the GoPicnic meals.

There is a store locator on the GoPicnic website to help you find these products in your local area. They are also available through several online retailers, including Amazon.com.
