Amco Rub Away Bar Rubs Strong Odors Away

You’re in the kitchen prepping dinner and cutting up onions and garlic. Or maybe it’s seafood for dinner and so you’re peeling shrimp. Afterwards, you can’t get the smell of those strong foods off of your hands no matter what you try. Enter the Amco Rub Away Bar. Yay! No more stinky hands!

How does it work? It’s simple. The bar helps you get rid of any sign of odor from garlic, fish and other smelly kitchen foods that get stuck to your hands after handling them. You use the stainless steel bar just like you’d use a regular bar of soap. It’s soap-shaped, and you rub like a soap bar under tap water, and it magically removes odors from your hands.

Washing and scrubbing with regular soap and water doesn’t do the trick. I’ve heard that you can rub your hands on your stainless steel faucet, and that works, but those odors still linger . . . that seems to just dull the scent. The reviews I read say that this product really does work and that the odors disappear after just rubbing the bar for the time it takes you to wash your hands.

Is it worth a shot? I’d say so. You can pick it up for less than $8. So even if it doesn’t work for you, you won’t be out a ton of money on it. And this product is sold on the Food Network site, Rachael Ray’s site, and on Cooking.com. To me, that means that the product is at least worth checking out!

Would you try the Amco Rub Away Bar?

I saw this product once and I was completely convinced. I like the idea that a bit of steel can take away what four baths in a row cant. So I tried rubbing my hands into my stainless steel pots. I cant vouch that it worked.

That is the weirdest thing …. but neat! How on earth does it work? If I see one (where do you get them?) I will have to experiement! We love onions and garlic at our house!
