This is a totally unnecessary purchase from a technical perspective, but I adore the soap sleeves from Bath & Body Works! These are silver metal sleeves that slip over the company’s soaps to give them a more polished look.
Even though Bath & Body Works makes stuff that smells heavenly, the packaging isn’t always the most appealing. And, pouring soap into an expensive separate dispenser is messy and annoying.
Using one of these sleeves is very easy. You simply unscrew the top of your soap bottle, pop the sleeve over the soap, and screw the top back on. It’s a simple way to make a mundane household item look like something you’d find in an upscale retreat!
I prefer to peel off the labels on my soap bottles before putting on the sleeves, although I’ve noticed they don’t do this in the store. The labels peel off cleanly with little or no residue and I think this leaves a more pleasant backdrop for showcasing the pattern of the metal sleeve.
The soap sleeves from Bath & Body Works are available in several different designs and they do release seasonal versions for those of you who like to decorate your entire home for the holidays!
One thing to remember when you’re shopping, though, is that you need to purchase the right kind of sleeve for your soap. The foaming soap sleeves are a slightly different size than the sleeves for the non-foaming soap, so they are not interchangeable. You don’t want to buy the wrong sleeve and have to return to the store for more soap to use it with.
