I adore this cute night owl hooded terry bath robe from Baby Aspen. It is the perfect outfit for your baby after he or she has been freshly bathed.
When my son was little, there was nothing more he loved than hanging out around the house in his diaper. He had several soft robes that I’d wrap him up in to keep him from getting too cold.
One thing I love about this owl robe in particular is that you could also use it as a Halloween costume. Halloween is by far my husband’s favorite holiday, so we tend to go all out in our celebrating. But, I hate buying expensive costumes and can’t always manage to find a good thrift store deal.
So, whenever I do need to purchase costumes, I try to look for things that can do double duty and be worn more than once. My son has worn Halloween pumpkin pajamas and a zippered skull hoodie as costumes. They were both much more comfortable for him than a cheap Walmart costume, which made him less cranky and kept our celebration as fun as possible.
This robe would be perfect if you want a little something to wrap your baby up in when you’re taking your older children out trick or treating. Since it’s loose fitting, it wouldn’t be a problem to put on the appropriate level of clothing underneath. (We live in the Midwest, so it’s often very cold when we’re out trick or treating!)
