100% Pure Vanilla Bean Nourishing Cream Is a Luxurious Treat

I’m trying to make the switch to natural skin care where I can, and though I like to make my own products, I can’t always make them myself.

If nothing else, I need to have a few lotions and creams on hand to toss into a bag for when I travel.

Little glass bottles with custom mixes don’t really travel well. I’m always afraid they’ll leak. The bottles from this line, 100% Pure, however, travel well and don’t have a lot of unnecessary chemicals or ingredients I don’t recognize. It’s made of natural, organic ingredients.

The Vanilla Bean Nourishing Cream is my favorite lotion right now. I have some others I’m trying to use up, but I keep going for this one. It smells like cake batter to me.

It’s not too sweet or too faint, but since it’s vanilla, it will blend well with a lot of different fragrances if you choose to wear a perfume, too.

If I had to make one complaint about this cream, it’s that it takes a while to absorb because it’s very thick. Some of it sits on top of my skin for a while, leaving a film that I have to put my clothes on top of (I’m not waiting around for all my lotion to soak in).

However, it’s so moisturizing, it soothes the incredible itchiness I get every winter all over my body. In light of that, I can forgive it for being a little slow to sink in. The moisturized feeling I get lasts all day.

If I wait to shower in the morning instead of at night, my skin will still feel fine the next morning, rather than dry again like it does with some other lotions.

You can purchase it at 100PercentPure.com or Ulta for $15.

I am not sure if I want to smell like cake batter… I am sure it would smell good but I wonder if it would make me hungry all the time. :)
